Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to improve manufacturing outcomes.
  • •Establish programs and solutions to increase uptime and address equipment problems affecting the manufacturing process.
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations and define preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment on metrology equipment.
  • •Equipment experience with KLA, Hitachi, and/or Onto tools.
  • •Experience with SEM, PVD, CVD, and/or high or ultra-high vacuum.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques, including semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
