Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct control, oversight, mentoring, and supervision of aircraft technicians carrying out maintenance activities.
  • •Ensure established process adherence, accurate and timely work recording, and contractual/regulatory compliance, including completion of aircraft paperwork to standards/certification IAW company procedures.
  • •Supervise, plan, sequence, distribute, and control technical work for a small group of aircraft technicians while maintaining schedule and controlling demanding workloads.
  • •Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or under the approval of the MOD customer, including assembly/disassembly and component upgrades to correct failures or implement changes.
  • •Perform routine troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic) and mitigate/ escalate immediate and emerging risks, issues, and shortfalls in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent written and spoken English.
  • •Hold or be able to obtain company supervisory authorisations on the aircraft type being worked on, including independent inspections.
  • •Working knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS) application within their responsibility.
  • •Ability to understand and interpret technical documents, drawings, and associated publications, with proven technical knowledge in aircraft maintenance processes.
  • •Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade experience equivalent (preferred), and effective computer skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
