Job Summary

Join the CRH Ventures team within the Strategy, Innovation and Ventures group as a Corporate Venture Capital associate. You’ll build market maps and landscape analyses across construction and climate technology themes, source and screen early-stage start-ups, develop financial and valuation models, and support end-to-end due diligence. You’ll also monitor portfolio performance, support accelerator program operations, and help structure commercial pilots with CRH operating companies, with up to 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain market maps and landscape analyses across the CRH Ventures focus themes (Aggregates, Cementitious, Roads, Water) spanning ConTech and ClimateTech.
•Source, screen, and track early-stage start-ups aligned with the team’s investment theses.
•Build and stress-test financial and valuation models using projections, KPIs, and comparable-company benchmarks.
•Support end-to-end due diligence (commercial, financial, technical, market) and synthesize findings into clear summaries.
•Monitor portfolio-company performance against plan and support accelerator program operations and commercial pilot structuring with CRH operating companies.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, corporate venture capital (CVC), venture capital, or an equivalent analytical role.
•Strong financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•Ability to conduct market research, build landscape analyses, and synthesize complex information into clear, decision-ready outputs.
