Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose and repair truck equipment systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, and related components.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to identify malfunctions using tools and test instruments; triage complex repairs as needed.
  • •Maintain parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work on Repair Orders (RO) by completing DOT forms and uploading work/parts/findings using an iOS device and the company TRAIT application; communicate approvals and RO notes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination including additional degree/certification or 5+ years related experience.
  • •3+ years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools and participate in all required company training.
  • •Complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Current valid DOT medical card and a valid driver’s license; be at least 21 years old.
