Job Summary

Lead a global people safety strategy and key EH&S programs, including machine guarding, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, and confined space. Own initiatives, training, reporting, and compliance across multiple EH&S disciplines, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety metrics. Coordinate with sites globally, support safety cultural transformation, drive data analytics and trending, mentor safety professionals, and stay current on regulations and safety technologies. Up to 25% travel for site support.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute a global people safety strategy across the organization in coordination with operations, engineering, and stakeholders.
•Lead key safety programs globally (e.g., machine guarding, robotics, contractor safety management, emergency preparedness, confined space).
•Execute EH&S initiatives, programs, reports, and training across multiple EH&S disciplines to achieve and maintain compliance.
•Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence the business and drive improved metrics across safety goals and project targets.
•Coordinate global safety cultural transformation, data analytics/reporting of safety metrics and trends, and mentor/cross-train safety professionals; provide onsite support as needed.

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Health & Safety or a related technical discipline and at least 10 years of overall EH&S experience, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.
•Execute global EH&S/people safety strategy and lead key safety programs across domains such as machine guarding, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, and confined space.
•Strong Microsoft Office suite skills for delivering data analysis and executive presentations/reporting.
•Demonstrated ability to influence business stakeholders to drive improved safety metrics and project targets.
•Capability to coordinate and collaborate with site EH&S professionals and other functions globally, including mentoring and cross-training safety professionals.
