Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-design a sustainable, scalable Finance Data Platform by co-owning the migration/change efforts.
  • •Assess the existing SAP BW landscape (data models, transformations, process chains, routines, queries) and identify technical debt, redundancy, and performance bottlenecks.
  • •Lead technical design of BW remediation, simplification, and modernisation, deciding what to retain, refactor, migrate, or decommission to reach target architecture (SAP Datasphere/BDC).
  • •Define robust, well-documented data models and transformation logic with optimization using best practices; establish monitoring and data quality checks for accuracy and completeness.
  • •Own Finance Data Platform run activities: technical documentation, root-cause analysis for defects/performance/reconciliation breaks, ad-hoc troubleshooting, and advise/mentor the team lead and junior members; apply AI and automation to improve standards and coding quality.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of professional experience in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, enterprise data warehousing, and SAP- and Azure-based data integration.
  • •Hands-on expertise in BW modeling and data extraction, including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, DTPs, process chains, queries, and delta handling.
  • •Ability to reverse-engineer and document complex legacy landscapes that are poorly documented.
  • •Clear communication of technical trade-offs and strong communication skills in English.
