Job Summary

Lead technology strategy and execution for Visa’s Risk and Security Solutions team, owning the Integrated Risk Platform that powers products like Visa Enhanced Authentication, Decision Manager, and Visa Risk Manager. •Provide senior technology leadership for cloud-first platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring secure, resilient, cost-optimized systems with high availability.
•Establish and enforce engineering excellence practices including CI/CD automation, DevOps, testing, observability, and architectural standards.
•Lead, mentor, and grow multi-disciplinary engineering teams, partnering with Product, Security, Privacy, and Governance to deliver compliant, scalable platforms and products.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 9+ years with an advanced degree, or 6+ years with a PhD; alternatively 15+ years relevant experience.
•15+ years progressive engineering experience including 12+ years leading large-scale product development and delivery, with a BS or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
•Proven expertise across modern stacks including Java/J2EE, Go, Python, Spring Boot, React, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, and test automation frameworks.
•Deep experience in cloud-native and DevSecOps architectures using AWS and/or Azure, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, serverless, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
•Advanced knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including integrating LLMs, vector databases, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI governance into production platforms.
