Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, plan, and write engaging copy for digital channels including social media, video, and web content.
  • •Collaborate with university teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver effective social media content.
  • •Create high-impact, creative digital content that supports university objectives and increases engagement.
  • •Monitor and respond to direct messages and comments on core institutional social media channels, and undertake social listening to identify issues and trends.
  • •Collate, analyse, and interpret digital performance data to review activity and recommend improvements based on insights.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to A level standard (or equivalent level 3 such as a level 3 NVQ or national diploma), or relevant work experience demonstrating ability for the role.
  • •Minimum grade C/4 in Mathematics and English at GCSE (or equivalent).
  • •Some experience in a Communications and/or Marketing role.
  • •Highly proficient IT skills, including MS Office and website editing software; ability to learn new software packages quickly.
  • •Excellent communication skills for different audiences, with the ability to plan, work to deadlines, and write to required standards.
