Job Summary

Senior Manager/Associate Director of Project and Portfolio Management at insitro will lead integrated project planning across research, discovery, clinical development, software engineering, and data science/machine learning. •Establish and improve project management tools and methodologies across the portfolio to support critical initiatives
•Partner with project team leaders to develop rightsized project strategy and foster a high-performing team environment
•Lead matrix team meetings to enable collaboration, decision-making, and alignment with internal and external customers, while managing scope, deliverables, risks, and resources
•Communicate complex information clearly to senior leaders and maintain positive cross-functional relationships

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 164,000 - 204,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS degree in life science; MS or PhD preferred
•Minimum 5 years in biotech/pharmaceutical early development (8 years for Assoc Dir), including 2+ years in project/portfolio leadership with cross-functional matrix teams (5+ for Assoc Dir)
•Extensive knowledge of the drug development process with experience in translational stages, target discovery, early commercial assessment and preliminary clinical development
•Excellent Project Management Skills with proficiency in tools and software (critical path analyses, scenario planning; PM certification preferred)
•Ability to analyze complex information for senior leaders and communicate effectively
