Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform E&I Technician responsibilities with minimal supervision and determine own work priorities.
  • •Maintain and repair calibration equipment; resolve abnormal conditions using vendor manual recommendations.
  • •Conduct preventative maintenance on control devices, DC/AC generators, pumps, and control valves, referencing vendor manuals and applicable codes.
  • •Maintain safety and process monitoring systems; perform facility safety checks, document abnormal conditions, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • •Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, participate in spill response, assist the PM program, and support construction/turnaround activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience at the prior level.
  • •Read and comprehend electrical drawings, pipeline maps, and technical schematics/manuals; perform load studies and related calculations.
  • •Know electrical code requirements and applicable federal, state, and provincial regulations for pipeline/facility operations.
  • •Proficiency in safe work practices and procedures, including site-specific PPE, confined space entry, incident reporting, and hazard awareness.
