Job Summary

Manage contract execution for space portfolio programs by advising on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation. Lead pre-proposal strategy through negotiation and start-up, including analyzing RFPs/RFIs/BAAs and constructing and negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing proposals. Partner cross-functionally with program and engineering leadership, perform contract negotiations, and support program management and execution reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with program, engineering, business/estimating, and supply chain teams to manage successful contract execution.
•Provide guidance on contractual and business issues, advising management on rights/obligations and mitigation of contractual or program risks.
•Contribute across pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and program start-up phases.
•Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and BAA materials to support proposal development and negotiation.
•Construct, submit, and negotiate terms/conditions and pricing proposals; negotiate contracts and support program execution reviews.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
•5 years of experience specifically with contracts and/or subcontracts.
•Experience with US Government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS.
•Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), and/or Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).
•Professional written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external customers.
