Senior technical leadership role within WSP’s national Water and Wastewater Treatment team, providing expert advice on water and/or wastewater treatment projects from concept through construction. Leads investigations, feasibility studies, and design reviews, mentors engineers, builds strong client relationships, and contributes to bids, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, sustainable outcomes in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide senior technical leadership on water and/or wastewater treatment projects
•Lead and review investigations, feasibility studies, designs and technical reports
•Apply sound engineering judgement across design, verification and peer review
•Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
•Build and maintain strong client relationships, clearly communicating technical solutions

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical/Process, Civil or Mechanical)
•Preferably minimum of 10 - 15 years’ professional experience in a related discipline
•Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent (or working towards)
•Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering
•Proven experience providing technical leadership and review
