Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and manage returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork, deliver documentation when routes are complete, and facilitate routine truck service checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle’s weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously at delivery points.
