Deliver heavy equipment safely and on time from EquipmentShare’s rental facility, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maneuver trucks and trailers for loading/unloading, assist with loading and returns, and maintain required shipping paperwork. Use EquipmentShare’s technology for real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Perform routine truck service checks and support on-call scheduling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and manage returning equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork, deliver documentation when routes are complete, and facilitate routine truck service checks.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle’s weight.

•Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously at delivery points.
