Job Summary

Support customers designing with Texas Instruments RF clock synthesizers, buffers, and BAW oscillators by interpreting datasheets, reviewing schematics/layouts, and enabling design-in with EVMs, chipsets, and tools. Troubleshoot hardware/firmware/system issues by recreating problems on evaluation/customer boards, perform bench characterization and new silicon testing, and create evaluation boards, user guides, and application notes. Also participate in product launch and proof-of-concept activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical application support to help customers design with TI RF clock synthesizers, buffers, and oscillators, including explaining datasheets and guiding design-in using EVMs, chipsets, and tools.
•Review customer schematics and layouts, and support design-in and post-ramp application support for released products.
•Troubleshoot customer hardware/firmware/system issues by recreating problems on evaluation boards and/or customer boards; provide on-site support when required.
•Develop and release evaluation hardware (evaluation/reference designs, EVM user guides, test procedures) and support correlation and evaluation for new products.
•Perform bench characterization and support new silicon testing from an application perspective; contribute to product launch and proof-of-concept demonstrations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.
•2-6 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in hardware board design, including schematic capture with PCB design software.
•Solid hardware debugging skills.
•Strong technical documentation skills, including EVM user guides and application/design notes.
