Key Responsibilities

  • •Own collections and AR end-to-end, including billing/invoicing, AR aging, customer follow-ups, overdue resolution, and timely cash application.
  • •Lead AP and purchasing strategy, including oversight of invoice coding/approvals/payment runs, vendor setup, 1099 compliance, and scalable purchasing controls.
  • •Maintain and improve finance systems and integrations (Ramp, Maxio, Avalara) connected to NetSuite, and leverage AI to automate recurring accounting/finance workflows.
  • •Own monthly revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related reporting, including contract review, revenue schedules, and deferred revenue roll-forwards.
  • •Support month-end close and audits: build audit-ready workpapers, prepare audit schedules, and maintain internal controls and processes for owned areas.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus.
  • •5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting/audit with operational accounting in a high-growth company.
  • •Strong US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
  • •Hands-on experience owning collections and AR with measurable results; comfortable working with customer AP portals.
  • •Experience preparing audit-ready workpapers and working directly with external auditors, plus finance systems/GL integration experience (NetSuite and Ramp preferred).
