Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot Cymer equipment problems via telephone or at customer sites.
  • •Perform installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on Cymer equipment.
  • •Maintain an assigned installation equipment base, including primary support, forecasting, customer support meetings, and regular customer communication.
  • •May provide service education to the customer’s service and operations staff.
  • •Ensure parts availability and complete service/expense reports and other administrative tasks per procedure and supervisor approval.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • •3–5 years of technical experience working with electronics.
  • •Advanced knowledge of installation, maintenance/repair, and troubleshooting at the module and system level.
  • •Experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic e-mail systems, and LabView.
  • •Must be able to meet customer site access requirements such as background checks, safety training, and cleanroom access (gowning and breathing apparatus).
