Key Responsibilities

  • •Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • •Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers and review quotes for completeness and alignment with SpaceX terms.
  • •Resolve invoice issues to ensure vendors are paid on time and expedite parts/services as necessary.
  • •Act as customer service for SpaceX internal customers and support buyers in cost savings initiatives.
  • •Lead miscellaneous procurement projects and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements that reduce order processing time and cost.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4+ years of professional experience in a supply chain, production, or engineering function.
  • •Purchasing experience, specifically related to indirect buying.
  • •Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed.
  • •Strong customer service, written/verbal/presentation communication, and exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
  • •Technical knowledge of MS Office Suite; familiarity with Microsoft SQL and PowerBI.
