Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate a Shuttle Buggy (Material Transfer Vehicle) during asphalt paving operations.
  • •Transfer asphalt mix from haul trucks to the paver while maintaining continuous material flow.
  • •Coordinate with paver operators, truck drivers, foremen, and paving crews to support efficient production.
  • •Monitor asphalt material consistency and help minimize segregation and thermal variations.
  • •Perform pre-shift, post-shift, and routine equipment inspections, complete inspection reports, and maintain equipment cleanliness and preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • •Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience (preferred).

  • •Experience in asphalt paving, road construction, or heavy highway construction (preferred).
  • •Ability to safely operate heavy paving equipment and follow verbal and written instructions while recognizing safety hazards.
