Job Summary

Application security engineer for Ivalua’s SaaS platform. You’ll enhance the SDLC security, run automated vulnerability analyses, perform manual security tests, drive remediation plans, and contribute to secure software architecture and development programs across the R&D org.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform manual application and web service security tests on Ivalua SaaS products and internet-facing apps; document findings and remediation plans.
•Improve/optimize configurations of application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) to reduce false positives/negatives.
•Develop and maintain internal automated scripts to complement scanning tools and scale manual security testing.
•Serve as the primary contact for analysis, discussion and review of client audit results (EMEA).
•Promote and support secure development practices within R&D, including security design reviews and security testing of major product changes.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on experience performing web application and web service security testing (pentests).
•Experience embedding security into the software development lifecycle (secure by design, secure code reviews, security testing).
•Proficiency in scripting and client-side programming and query languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL).
•Experience with application security tooling (BurpSuite, SQLMap, Invicti, Checkmarx).
•Security testing certification or active pursuit of one (OSCP/OSWE/GPEN/GWAPT/CPTS or similar) is preferred but not required.
