Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a primary legal advisor for product and platform initiatives, with end-to-end responsibility for product legal support.
  • •Work closely with Engineering teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles and AI transparency measures.
  • •Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, IP, and data-related risks across Sierra’s products.
  • •Help design and scale processes that support rapid innovation while managing risk.
  • •Advise on emerging AI-specific regulations and their applicability to Sierra’s Platform Services.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8 years of legal experience, with a combination of both large law firm and in-house product counseling experience at a tech company.
  • •Ability to partner closely with technical teams to develop a deep understanding of Sierra’s products.
  • •Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with business and product goals.
  • •Working knowledge of data protection and emerging AI regulations.
  • •Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
