Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with product managers and chief engineers to develop new ideas and design concepts.
  • •Research and design mechanism parts, sub-assemblies, and working units for power tool functions.
  • •Explore manufacturing processes to improve designs for DFM and future production needs.
  • •Analyze design integrity and functionality using mechanical theory calculations, CAE, dimensional stack-up, and DFMEA tools.
  • •Develop prototypes, conduct evaluations and testing, maintain testing records, and support concept-to-production release with suppliers and teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •5+ years’ experience designing or implementing mechanical products, with power tools experience preferred.
  • •Strong mechanical design knowledge, including plastics and manufacturing processes (machining, powdered metal, stamping, casting, and heat treatment) preferred.
  • •Proficient with 3D/2D drawings and design calculations; CATIA experience preferred.
  • •Familiarity with GD&T, dimensional stack-up, DFMEA, and PFMEA, plus reliable English communication and MS Office proficiency.
