Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and enforce cloud security governance and control requirements across AWS and Azure.
  • •Perform cloud security posture management, identifying misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and deviations from baseline, then require remediation and track to closure.
  • •Partner with Security Architecture to translate cloud security standards into actionable control requirements and support exception/risk acceptance processes.
  • •Own cloud visibility and risk management by defining risk metrics, prioritization models, and reporting standards; improve asset visibility and configuration awareness.
  • •Integrate cloud telemetry into enterprise logging/monitoring platforms and support secondary Proofpoint email security operations (backup).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and at least 6 years of IT/cybersecurity experience with a cloud security focus (or equivalent experience/education).
  • •Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools (Prisma Cloud, Qualys TotalCloud, CrowdStrike Cloud Security, or similar).
  • •Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including IAM and network security, plus experience managing and driving remediation to closure.
  • •Experience supporting security exceptions/risk acceptance processes and delivering security posture reporting to leadership.
