Job Summary

The Role holder will be responsible for the distribution for Fixed Income product in Italy, in addition to having personal production targets, and will collaborate with trading, COO, and risk/compliance teams to grow the fixed income product franchise across the region.

Key Responsibilities

•Distribute Fixed Income products to Italian institutional clients and meet personal production targets.
•Develop and maintain Italian institutional relationships, coordinating with secondary trading to deliver quality service.
•Support DCM and Banking franchise by distributing primary products and originating taps and private placements.
•Assist in managing existing credit relationships in Italy and other European countries, sharing updates on product enhancements and credit trends.
•Monitor coverage region performance via MIS and client relationships to manage inquiry and flow.

•Work closely with secondary trading to ensure we deliver a quality service to your clients in a commercial and compliant way
•Assist in managing the existing credit relationships in Italy and other European countries, keeping the clients abreast of new SMBC product enhancements and initiatives as well as content creation on credit trends, new emergent products and platforms.
•Understand how we are performing in your coverage region through MIS and client relationships to enhance and manage the inquiry and flow.
