Key Responsibilities

•Direct positioning and messaging for the aerospace and defense audience across all channels.
•Create and manage content (articles, op-eds, industry insights, case studies, and LinkedIn).
•Build and pitch to journalists, editors, and podcast hosts covering defense tech, aerospace, and manufacturing.
•Drive earned presence through news placements, speaking slots, podcast appearances, awards, and conference participation.
•Manage freelancers/agencies (agenda setting and core work in-house) and provide materials to support sales, BD, and fundraising.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•7+ years in communications, PR, or content in defense tech or aerospace, ideally close to manufacturing and hardware.
•Strong live media relationships with the ability to identify and pitch relevant reporters/outlets.

•Fast, high-quality writing with demonstrated placed work (bylines, ghost-written executive content, and stories pitched into print).
