Job Summary

Build strong customer relationships as a Retail Personal Banker II by using a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to identify deposit, loan, and fee-based opportunities. Partner with teams and business partners to cross-sell, set appointments with approved marketing tools, and support consumer lending and bankcard processes. Own risk responsibilities, maintain compliance with retail policies and ethics, and meet production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services using the company’s value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and support outside sales activities and financial literacy events as directed.
•Follow risk and compliance responsibilities while participating in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing.

•College degree or work experience with transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to professionally represent the bank through appearance and verbal/written communication.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
