  • •Develop, maintain, and enforce trade compliance policies, procedures, internal controls, and record-keeping
  • •Ensure accurate HTS classification, country of origin determination, tariff application, and documentation
  • •Serve as the North American SME for customs compliance and regulations and manage broker relationships and government inquiries
  • •Manage US and Canadian customs audits, implementing corrective actions and risk mitigation
  • •Own trade master data and trade management tools (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM) and provide guidance/training to internal teams

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade, Finance, Tax, International Business, Tax Law or similar field

  • •Robust understanding of US and CA import entry procedures for all modes of transportation
  • •Experience with CBP ACE portal and CBSA CARM Client Portal
  • •Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
