Job Summary

Hydrogeologist role supporting the Pacific Northwest Environmental Site Investigation, Remediation and Hydrogeology Team. You will conduct Phase I/II environmental site assessments, perform geologic/hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater modeling, contribute to remediation and regulatory efforts, manage projects and client relationships, and mentor early-career staff from Redmond, WA or Tigard, OR offices.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I and II).
•Conduct geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, hydrogeologic testing, and groundwater flow modeling; develop conceptual site models.
•Contribute to action plans for pollution, hazardous waste, and environmental control programs.
•Engage in project management and regulatory agency communications; maintain client relationships to ensure project delivery.
•Mentor early career staff to support growth and development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 104,700 - 133,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geosciences or closely related discipline.
•7-10 years of post-education experience working as a Geologist or Hydrogeologist.
•Proficient with analytical geology concepts, research, investigation, technology, measurement tools, software, and techniques.
•Project management experience with mid-level projects including tracking hours and expenses for project work
•Experience in site investigations/characterization (e.g., logging boreholes; designing, installing, and developing wells in a variety of hydrogeologic settings for environmental site assessment) and sampling procedures (e.g., soil, water, soil gas, air, and hazardous waste).
