Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for utility design projects including treatment plants, pump/booster stations, water line and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.
  • •Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
  • •Work under supervision of a senior project manager in the water/wastewater/water resources practice or senior level team members.
  • •Utilize engineering principles to develop solutions for technical problems and perform routine to complex analyses.
  • •Record field data using tablets and GPS units, conduct data gathering site visits and prepare reports to ensure compliance with regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in planning, modeling, and/or design of water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects.
  • •Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain PE licensure within one (1) year of employment.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
  • •Preferred: Professional Engineer with 6+ years of experience planning, modeling, and/or design of water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects (and related software knowledge such as AutoCAD, HCS, MicroStation, GIS).
