Job Summary

Lead a multi-mission radar array within the MFRFS Product Line, serving as the primary technical point of contact for development, production, and sustainment of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs). Collaborate with program engineering and management, support the array chief engineer on technical issues, and drive design improvements, risk/benefit recommendations, and troubleshooting for production and field issues. Onsite in McKinney, TX with occasional customer travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary technical point of contact and responsible engineer for development, production, and sustainment of the designated array.
•Interface between program engineering and program management to the array design authority.
•Partner with the array chief engineer to resolve technical issues, prioritize efforts, and report task execution status.
•Recommend design improvements, technical risks/benefits, and drive technical maturation of the array.
•Coordinate design updates and provide engineering troubleshooting for production builds and field issues; occasional customer travel may be required.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•Prior experience with RF simulation toolsets (e.g., ADS, HFSS, SystemVue).
•Prior experience with RF testing including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and near field probes.
•Technical leadership experience to lead resolution of tough technical challenges.
•Electrical hardware design and development experience with design standard adherence; experience producing active antenna array assemblies.
