Job Summary

Support aerospace nacelle applications by creating and maintaining materials and process specifications for composites, prepregs, and structural adhesives. Provide technical support to program design teams, resolve complex supplier and operations questions, and run root-cause investigations with corrective/preventive actions. Lead special-process supplier qualifications and audits, contribute material property values to qualifications and acceptance, mentor early-career engineers, and drive CORE MFA and SPQDC initiatives while traveling up to 20%.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a technical contact for external customers and suppliers and deliver technical presentations.
•Lead small technical teams, mentor early-career engineers, and drive CORE MFA and SPQDC initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years experience.
•Experience with composites, prepregs, structural adhesives, and aerospace organic/metallic materials.
•Experience with technical writing including specifications, test plans, and reports.
•Experience with MS Word and Excel.
•Experience is focused on creating, maintaining, and approving materials and process specifications.
