Job Summary

Maintain and repair plant equipment and facilities at a ready-mix concrete operation, ensuring safe daily operations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace defective parts, and complete preventative maintenance and special projects. Handle required maintenance paperwork and communicate work orders to management while keeping the workspace clean. Support operations as needed, including occasional work at satellite locations, varying weather conditions, and possible weekend or overtime schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure safety by following company safety regulations while performing plant maintenance and repairs.
•Perform daily plant maintenance, repairs, and special maintenance projects on facility equipment.
•Troubleshoot equipment problems and replace defective parts as needed to maintain machinery.
•Complete and manage required maintenance documentation, including work orders, invoices, and safety documentation.
•Operate equipment as needed (e.g., front end loader) and perform additional duties within the plant as assigned.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
•Minimum 2 years experience in the maintenance field (preferred).
•General experience with industrial equipment and preventative maintenance/repairs on ready mix plant operations.
•Ability to make simple electrical diagnosis and repairs.
•Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a valid driver’s license.
