Key Responsibilities

•Deliver geotechnical expertise on multidisciplinary projects—including highways, bridges, dams, buildings, tunnels, industrial facilities, and remote northern infrastructure.
•Collaborate with engineering staff and cross-regional teams to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable geotechnical solutions.
•Prepare detailed geotechnical studies and engineering reports, offering clear, actionable recommendations grounded in field data and technical analysis.
•Lead or support geotechnical investigation programs, including scoping, bidding, procurement, and oversight of subcontractor activities.
•Assess and evaluate key geotechnical challenges such as settlement, liquefaction, slope stability, frost heave, groundwater flow, excavation considerations, and more.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 104,100 - 138,000 annually

Key Requirements

•A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geomechanics, or a related discipline.
•Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a P.Eng. with EGBC.
•At least six years of hands-on geotechnical experience across multiple project types and field conditions.
•Proficiency with geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or similar tools.
•Strong initiative with the ability to lead workstreams and deliver projects on time and to high technical quality.
