Job Summary

Lead and manage DP World Tartus’s information security function across hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises and Microsoft Azure. Set security strategy, governance frameworks, and risk management practices to protect business systems, data, and technology assets. Partner with stakeholders and regional leaders to strengthen cybersecurity resilience and incident preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership for information security policies, standards, governance frameworks, and controls aligned with DP World’s cybersecurity program.
•Ensure compliance with cybersecurity governance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and internal security standards, including security requirements mandated by the Tartus Port Authority.
•Lead cybersecurity risk management: conduct risk assessments, evaluate controls, oversee risk treatment, maintain risk registers, and report risk posture to executives.
•Oversee vulnerability management across infrastructure, applications, operational technology, and cloud environments, including scanning, penetration testing, remediation prioritization, and reporting.
•Provide security operations oversight for incident management and cyber resilience, ensuring incident response readiness and incorporation of security into recovery and continuity planning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
•5-6 years of experience in IT governance, service delivery management, IT infrastructure, network, and risk management roles, preferably in the port and terminal industry or related field.
•Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
•Expertise in IT governance frameworks and compliance standards, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Arabic and English, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
