Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain the common Graphics Kernel API layer and the cross-driver abstraction beneath it, keeping behavior consistent across backends.
  • •Contribute to the validation layer and conformance test suite to catch misuse early and enforce contracts across drivers.
  • •Partner with lower-level driver teams to ensure new API additions are practical and perform well on real hardware.
  • •Improve performance, testability, and stability across the API surface down to driver command handling.
  • •Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews, and collaborate with engine teams to plan work and resolve issues.
