Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and improve in-house and commercial EDA tools and flows for physical layout, verification, and CMOS integrated circuit design.
  • •Work with layout design and memory layout teams to identify issues, propose solutions, and address daily challenges.
  • •Lead layout flow implementations using AI-assisted and automated workflows to accelerate placement, routing, and optimization.
  • •Continuously evaluate and deploy new tools and technologies to improve layout development flows.
  • •Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and develop AI-enabled methodologies for semi-automated floorplanning and parasitic estimation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in layout automation, physical verification, or related domains.
  • •Experience customizing design environments and automation utilities to improve memory layout productivity.
  • •Hands-on experience with place-and-route flows for custom memory layouts using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, Pulsic Unity, and Itools.
  • •Knowledge of physical verification flows and debugging DRC, ERC, LVS, DFM, and Antenna/ICV rule deck issues.
  • •Programming fundamentals with exposure to Skill (Cadence), Perl, Python, Tcl, plus working knowledge of Linux.
