Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review advance, monthly, and supplemental payrolls for LATAM (salary, equity, benefits, variable pay).
  • •Manage Brazil 13º salário, férias, and rescisão calculations/payments and Mexico Christmas Bonus, profit sharing, and termination calculations/payments.
  • •Act as single point of contact for LATAM payroll issues, resolving them within global payroll SLAs.
  • •Reconcile payroll and support monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close processes, including preparing and reconciling income tax DARF.
  • •Ensure compliance across annual requirements and audits, train junior payroll staff, document/improve payroll SOPs, and automate processes to enhance scalability/efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent in Portuguese (must) and Spanish (plus).
  • •Minimum 6+ years of LATAM payroll experience, including Brazil and Mexico end-to-end payroll.
  • •Hands-on experience with Brazil payroll statutory obligations, including eSocial and FGTS Digital, INSS, IRRF, and related filings.
  • •Ability to partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors, and communicate complex payroll matters clearly.
  • •Advance proficiency with MS Word and Excel (Google Applications also required); ADP Celergo and SuccessFactors are a plus.
