Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general production tasks to process meat products for consumers.
  • •Use hand tools, knives (if trained), machinery, and other equipment to complete production work.
  • •Maintain a safe and efficient production line while supporting coworkers and teamwork.
  • •Follow safety procedures and required use of PPE in a noisy, wet/humid environment.
  • •Work the scheduled shift and may work overtime depending on production demands.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • •Be able to perform continuous/repetitive physical tasks and stand on concrete/platforms for up to a 12-hour shift.
  • •Work in a production environment involving animal blood/carcass parts, wet/humid conditions, and strong odors, including cold (20–40°) and/or warm (over 100°) areas.
  • •Be able to work safely with required PPE (hard hat, hearing/eye protection, steel-toed safety shoes) and use tools/equipment (including knives if trained; may require certification for certain equipment).
