Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end design and development of a 40-ft containerized interceptor launch system meeting performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
  • •Architect and validate major subsystems (electrical, power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural) and flow down system requirements to components.
  • •Oversee trades studies, design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR), and technical baseline management.
  • •Directly manage and develop a team of 3–5 engineers across mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines.
  • •Lead system integration and qualification testing and support field deployment and operational readiness activities, coordinating with safety engineering for range and system safety compliance.

Salary: USD 145,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •8+ years progressive engineering experience in ground support, launch ground systems, or industrial/energy ground infrastructure.
  • •Hands-on experience in two or more system domains: electrical, power, pneumatic, hydraulic, or structural/mechanical systems.
  • •Experience leading or co-leading a multi-discipline engineering team on a hardware development program.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
