Job Summary

Lead concrete laboratory trials and applications, organizing team resources to run material preparation, trial mixes, and product demos in line with in-house procedures. Provide technical consulting and troubleshooting for customers, including handling complaints and visiting sites to validate product design suitability. Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations, maintain documented test results, support sales strategy execution, and manage and develop the concrete team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead laboratory trials and ensure material preparation, trial mixes, product demos, and wet/dry sample preparation follow standard in-house procedures.
•Provide technical support to customers as a troubleshooter and technical consultant, including handling and following up on technical complaints.
•Evaluate new/alternative raw materials and optimize product formulations to improve margin or reduce complexity, and prepare investigation reports for issues.
•Support sales and customer application needs with technical guidance, mix design optimization, and pre-/post-sales troubleshooting.
•Supervise and manage concrete team resources and development needs, including daily planning, work assignment, prioritization, and maintain lab equipment readiness.

Key Requirements

•Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
•Minimum 5 years in a laboratory environment dealing with construction chemicals.
•At least 5 years in a technical support role related to the construction chemical industry.
•Experience in ready-mix concrete industry is an added advantage.
•Able to cultivate teamwork culture with strong leadership.
