Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and leadership direction for appointment of competent discipline lead engineers and plan engineering tasks to define scope and develop solutions.
  • •Act as Project Director/Project Manager following successful accreditation, including monitoring financial performance using AECOM’s project management system.
  • •Deliver and oversee technical content and output quality in line with the project brief across multi-disciplinary transportation projects.
  • •Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams, collaborate with technical teams and clients, and provide Health, Safety and Wellness leadership consistent with AECOM policies.
  • •Develop client relationships and drive business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and fee proposals, and contributing to or leading bids.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience managing and delivering complex civils engineering and/or transport engineering projects, particularly sustainable infrastructure and roads/traffic engineering.
  • •Experience with associated design standards for roads and active travel in the UK and Ireland.
  • •Working knowledge of forms of contract used on the island of Ireland, including the New Engineering Contract and the Government Construction Contracts Committee Public Works Contract.
  • •Commercial acumen for managing project opportunities and risks in contractual environments.
  • •Relevant degree and Chartered status (or ability to achieve similar status for other jurisdictions).
