Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently utilize warehouse material handling equipment.
  • •Use material handling equipment and the warehouse management system to build pallets for shipment, receive product, put away in fill locations, and replenish slots.
  • •Utilize RF units and pick tickets, and receiving documentation.
  • •Ensure item pick accuracy and product safety to prevent damage; build accurate pallet loads using pallet layers, heights, and counting methods.
  • •Follow housekeeping processes, apply effective food safety measures, wrap pallets with plastic wrap, and inform the supervisor of case quantity/product description differences.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; 3 months of documented experience as a certified fork lift/heavy lift driver may be accepted in lieu.
  • •Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to use procedure manuals, signs/labels, warehouse computer systems, complete written documents, and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds continually during shift.
  • •Must obtain proper powered industrial truck certifications during the initial training phase.
  • •Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE) and follow written and verbal instructions.
