Job Summary

Lead day-to-day production operations by overseeing the full manufacturing process, including yield tracking, real-time adjustments, and execution of safety and USDA health standards. Train, coach, and motivate hourly employees to meet production targets with strong communication and alignment on daily objectives. Monitor product quality using Food Safety/Food Quality plans, drive operational efficiency through yield and variance analysis, and support continuous improvement while overseeing routine equipment and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily production floor inspections to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action; lead safety audits and ensure compliance with HACCP and USDA regulations.
•Maintain product quality by enforcing Food Safety and Food Quality plans and training employees on safe operating procedures, including lock-out/tag-out.
•Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances; partner with Operations leaders to improve workflows and equipment use to minimize downtime and costs.
•Direct hourly production employees to align on safety, quality, and production goals; lead monthly line meetings and daily floor walk-throughs.
•Analyze key product performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and maintain quality standards.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 55,000 - 82,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead through training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process or project.
•Strong oral and written communication with solid analytical and math abilities for complex process problem-solving.
•Ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance while fostering a respectful, team-oriented environment.
•Adaptable to fast-paced environments, able to work varying conditions (heat and cold) and willing to work long hours and weekends when needed.
