Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert technical leadership for delivery of complex water resources and flood engineering projects.
  • •Lead technical direction, including development and review of flood studies and water management strategies.
  • •Perform and guide flood risk assessment, hydraulic modelling, and water resource management studies for major projects.
  • •Review and approve technical reports, models, and design outputs for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • •Mentor engineers and engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to deliver trusted technical guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in water resources engineering, flood management, or related civil engineering disciplines.
  • •Experience leading technical teams and directing complex engineering projects.
  • •Hands-on experience with water resource modelling packages such as TUFLOW, MIKE, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, RORB, XP-RAFTS, URBS, XP-STORM, MUSIC, and GOLDSIM.
  • •Strong understanding of Australian Standards, water legislation, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • •Demonstrated management skills to lead multiple projects and provide high-quality outcomes in a consultancy environment.
