Key Responsibilities

  • •Review city-required building and other permit documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • •Support permit applicants with filing procedures with various City agencies.
  • •Deliver documents to City agencies for data entry, review, and/or approval.
  • •Work with plan examiners to review documents for City Building Code and code compliance.
  • •Research building status from city records and support senior project officers for design/construction quality and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • •A valid driver’s license in New York State.
  • •Six (6) months of experience working in the construction industry or equivalent.
  • •Responsible/ethical decision-making and adherence to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies.
  • •Working knowledge of standard computer systems (e.g., Excel, Word).
