Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and achieve safety, quality, and production goals at the Jackson site, serving as a role model for safety behaviors.
  • •Coordinate equipment and manpower with timely maintenance scheduling and process improvement projects to meet production and logistics KPI targets.
  • •Drive reduction in offspec production using data to find and eliminate root causes, and ensure nonconforming material is reworked.
  • •Manage fixed cost budget and overtime targets by monitoring cost performance, inventory oversight, and staffing priorities.
  • •Lead professional development and coaching for first-line supervisors and logistics personnel, including mentoring new supervisors and addressing performance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or Business Management (preferred).
  • •At least five years of manufacturing experience, including production, maintenance, and laboratory/quality management systems, with supervisory or management experience.
  • •Experience in thermoplastic compounding and extrusion (beneficial).
  • •General knowledge of plant operations, capacity planning, and manufacturing (plus).
  • •Ability to influence colleagues across site and wider organization, drive results, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
