Job Summary

Bridge between a customer’s multi-million dollar business problem and Databricks’ technical solution. You act as the product manager for the field, owning the non-technical lifecycle of an FDE engagement, defining MVPs, writing PRDs, and guiding agile delivery from discovery to successful production adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end product ownership of the deployment engagement, acting as the CEO of the project and primary QA tester.
•Scope value and define the pilot (MVP, success criteria, timeline) in collaboration with Sales and the customer’s leadership.
•Write the PRD, prioritize the engineering backlog, and manage project scope to ensure on-time delivery.
•Drive agile project execution with the FDE build team and manage communications across stakeholders from the C-suite to engineers.
•Lead Day 0 launch, capture feedback, iterate, and drive adoption to prove defined business value.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Executive presence and strong communication with C-suite
•Product thinking and systems thinking to define what to build and why
•Hands-on, relentless execution mindset with comfort in escalation
•Proven experience as Deployment Strategist or in senior client-facing product/delivery roles at tech companies or top-tier consultancies
•Proven skills in value-based scoping (TCO/ROI), agile software project management, PRD writing, and travel up to 50%
