Job Summary

Support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across all stages of the project lifecycle within the PMCM team. Assist with planning, programme management, reporting, risk management, and project controls, including monitoring cost, schedule, and risks. Help administer NEC contracts and project governance, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and prepare documentation, reports, and meeting minutes. Build your project management skills through mentoring and exposure to major capital programmes.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
•Assist with project planning, programme management, reporting, risk management, and project controls activities.
•Support administration of NEC contracts and project governance processes.
•Coordinate with clients, contractors, design teams, and other stakeholders to help ensure successful project outcomes.
•Monitor project performance (cost, schedule, risks, and actions) and prepare project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.

Key Requirements

•Experience in a project support, project coordination, assistant project management, or similar role in a consultancy, engineering, or infrastructure environment.
•Understanding of core project management principles including programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
•A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
•Progress towards a recognised project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 (or willingness to work towards one).
•Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
