Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and develop a team of data engineers, setting expectations for quality, collaboration, and delivery.
  • •Stay hands on by writing and reviewing production code, leading code/design reviews, and solving technical problems.
  • •Design and maintain scalable People data foundations including data models, pipelines, semantic layers, and testing frameworks.
  • •Own engineering standards for SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, CI/CD, release management, documentation, lineage, and observability.
  • •Deliver AI-assisted workforce analytics and internal tools by translating business needs into technical designs, working with stakeholders, and enforcing data governance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 163,200 - 280,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •7+ years in data engineering/analytics engineering/data platform engineering.
  • •5+ years managing or formally leading engineers.
  • •Proficiency in Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow, and Gitlab, with scalable data modeling (dimensional models, semantic layers, data marts).
  • •Experience supporting production with data quality, testing, lineage, observability, and access controls for sensitive/regulated data.
