Join the Northampton Brewery maintenance team as a Multi Skilled Engineer. Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise system performance and drive technical improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance initiatives, resolve equipment issues and reduce waste/downtime.
•Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults and ensure optimal equipment performance.
•Follow health, safety and environmental regulations, maintaining records of CBM activities to support audits and ensure compliance with LOTO and electrical safety standards.
•Support maintenance of site infrastructure and electrical distribution systems to ensure reliable operation of utilities for production and site-wide needs.
•Mentor apprentices and newer technicians while aligning with production priorities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Recognised qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
•Previous experience in a multiskilled maintenance role within FMCG, Manufacturing or Industrial sectors, with hands-on CBM experience.
•Certifications in areas such as welding, hydraulics, pneumatics or rotating machinery are advantageous.
•Experience using CMMS for work order management and maintenance record keeping.
•Fluent in English, both verbal and written; UK Working Rights.
