Job Summary

Manage credit risk for a moderate-to-complex portfolio of financial institution loans. Perform daily underwriting and monitoring analysis, review and process loan approval requests, ensure covenant compliance, and take appropriate action for past-due or noncompliant credits. Partner with Relationship Managers and industry experts on financial analysis, reporting, collateral review, and documentation, while mentoring junior portfolio managers and supporting credit excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform industry and company research, financial analysis, and modeling to support credit underwriting and approval document preparation.
•Support customer/prospect credit needs by participating in loan proposal and account management activities, including attending calls with Relationship Managers.
•Coordinate and review internal or third-party loan documentation as required, and build knowledge of bank credit products and customer/business opportunities.
•Maintain client records and archives, collect and review collateral and financial monitoring information, and recommend actions for past-due or notes matured accounts.
•Partner with Relationship Managers to obtain customer performance information, assess management capabilities, conduct industry research, update risk ratings and loan status reports, and complete required special projects; mentor more junior portfolio managers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,100 - 172,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for accounting, finance, or economics majors.
•3-5 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with internal bank applications is a plus.
•Strong organizational skills with teamwork experience.
•Ability to work in a deadline-driven, multi-task environment and operate in a limited client-facing setting.
